Hello Jon!
It is indeed necessary to update the Game Center to version 4.2 (20500). As mentioned by vance_tsai@me.com, a pop-up notification will appear. However, the update can also be found in the Windows Tray.

Thank you. I was able to finally get it updated. This game feels so good with the DBOX settings. I have a DOFreality H6 with SimRacingStudio software before for GT7 but this is AMAZING the coding is great for motion and haptics. It makes me want to get the Logitech PRO racing wheel to get TRUEforce to add to the immersion for this game. I do have the Fanatec CS DD+ on order… but that is a whole debockle in itself…

Can we expect to see the ability to run applications like SIMHUB in tandem with DBOX in the future? I would love to have my digital dashes and wind sim working with this motion setup.

I also found that D-Box’s fidelity is amazing compared to the other motion platforms that I’ve tried before my purchase, and now we’re seeing more frequent additions in terms of game support and adaptive game profile improvements, I am hopeful for the future enjoyment of my D-Box sim rig!

That being said, I am looking at adding a G-Seat / G-Belt to my sim-rig for some persistent g-force simulation, and also hoping like you that it can play nicely with the D-Box software, but I think a bunch of people with G-Seat also has it working with their D-Box rig…

I was pleasantly surprised to see this profile released, and it works really well with a high level of detail coming through. Congrats d-box team.

Just one bit of feedback: in other simulations the front to back pitch mainly comes from weight transfer (braking etc.) with a small effect from pitch changes in the road (going uphill). But in GT7 it seems the opposite way around with pitch dominated by road elevation, and only a minor impact from braking. You get used to it but I was wondering whether it could be adjusted. Thanks!

Does that mean that to play GT7 on PS5 I don’t need a subscription to HaptiSync?

You don’t need a HaptiSync subscription, but must have a D-BOX Connect account. You can install the Game Center, and follow the instructions to connect his PC to your PS5. So I played around with it a lot with the controller. I must say it’s a little disapointing compared to Forza Motorsport motion codes. What I see that needs improvement.

  1. There seems to be missing traction control loss.
  2. No ABS function to feel the car tire chatter
  3. Elevation is tied to the geometry of the track instead of brake dive from car braking. (I actually like this as it feels better to me, but would be better to have both options)
  4. The motion profile editor doesn’t work correctly. I can turn everything down to level 5 and it feels the same if it was on 40.
  5. To correct the above I turn the Main level to 40% and then leave the motion editor at default 40 so it’s not overpowered. Then I have to turn up suirface texture to 50 to feel that better.
  6. The motion like the guys video above is not smooth feeling like it is in Forza or AMS2 etc. It seems to feel like it’s bottom out in when it still has more travel in the actuators.

Is there a new update coming soon? This is pretty basic compared to other sims.
